About me and Hello

I'm Harianto van Insulinde, a frontend / full-stack developer from The Hague. I spend my working days deep in Vue and the browser, which is exactly why this blog is not another "how I centred a div" series. Enough of that already pays the rent.

So the posts here are the after-hours stuff: Docker mysteries, self-hosted stacks that almost work, local AI experiments, and the occasional victory I did not see coming. If it broke in my house first, it may end up here.

Exhibit A: I once tried to run Ollama on a Synology NAS. The NAS survived. My optimism needed a firmware update. These days the same hobby lives on a GPD WIN 5 with an AMD GPU, where I run three Unsloth Studios on one card instead of asking a DS920+ to be a workstation.

Career-wise I went from Flash and early web work to years of production Vue via Open Web, including Valtech, Squares, and MyParcel (Meteor to Vue 2/3, because apparently I collect migrations). On the side I build tools I actually use, like markdown-to-cv and the Job Application Workbench, mostly so future-me stops reinventing the same wheel.
